Age verification is a disaster for the web. It allows the government over-reaching powers over UK businesses, tells parents that they can't teach their children, and doesn't even work. And it will barely even affect that. In my high school I knew people using bluetooth to share their favourite adult content. This wouldn't affect that at all. It makes it impossible for parents to safely teach, and means teens are watching unsafe content that sets a bad example.Permalink On twitter.com
