      I did not intend for my first blog post in years to be on Koken, but here we are! Had several people contact me regarding issues, and had to migrate a Koken site to a new PHP 7.4 server last night so wrote this during the process.

    If you are currently on Koken and looking for an alternative, jump to the bottom for some of my recommendations. None are ideal, but I am really excited about Prosopopee (github.com/psycojoker/prosopopee) a SSG designed for 'photo stories'. Worth checking out if you're technical!

      There's also the every brilliant eleven_ty that would serve a photographers site brilliantly, takes a bit more work but would be worth it in the long run. When I have more time I think this will probably be where my Koken site ends up.
