  1. The first colour space I tried was HSL—not quite the effect I was going for (attached video)!!! I also experimented with SRGB, HSL, HWB and LCH but LAB came out on top. Most of the others deviated in hue too much, LAB was similar but with nicer colours transitioning to/from blue Accudio/1479494031319216130

      (Video alt: recording of the colour changing theme on alistairshepherd.uk, but the transition in colour goes through a rainbow of different hues before becoming the correct one)
