nhoizey If I recall correctly it's a compatibility thing, many browsers don't support preconnect. Browsers that understand preconnect will do so - and is smart enough to dedupe. Those that don't will at least do dns-prefetch. I assume the same behaviour for the header but I'm not 100%.
